MX-F IWAKI Magnetic drive centrifugal pumps

Iwaki MX-F Magnetically driven centrifugal pumps for long life and efficiency under difficult conditions.

With the Iwaki MX-F series of magnetic pumps, a pump has been constructed according to the latest state of development. High-quality ETFE components tolerate the most difficult conditions and aggressive chemicals. The MX series has a double-bearing shaft, Iwaki's own non-contact system with self-cooling construction and a two-part housing. The MX-F magnetically driven centrifugal pumps also show excellent performance in operation against closed flaps, dry running and cavitation. The MX centrifugal pumps are ideally suited for high purity chemicals and large-scale chemical processes.
With the MX-F pump version with carbon bearings, dry running is possible for a short time.

Self-cooling construction (international patent pending)
Through the heat outlet holes in the fixed parts between impeller and magnet capsule the medium must circulate around the shaft and bearing.  This ensures effective heat dissipation to avoid thermal deformation and material fusion. (except MX-F100)

The dry running capability and efficiency of the previous models have been further improved

  • An improved mechanical design allows operation under abnormal conditions and reduces both operating costs and maintenance requirements.

  • The two-part, spiral-shaped housing increases efficiency. (patent pending)

  • Simple design, robust and easy to maintain

  • Fluoroplastic, excellent resistance to chemicals

MX-F Magnetic centrifugal pump
with contactless system

Due to the innovative arrangement of the drive magnet and driven magnet, the movement of the magnet capsule is controlled by the magnetic attraction force to prevent the rear ring and the rear part of the bearing from constantly coming into contact with each other. This is guaranteed even in dry running. This design reduces heat generation and at the same time ensures that the individual components can slide. (except MX-F100)

Two-part spiral housing (international patent pending)

(International patent pending) The MX-F series is the first magnetically driven plastic pump with two-part front and rear housings, which ideally form a vortex chamber. Therefore the phenomenon of internal leakage is avoided. The medium flowing out of the impeller and back into the pump casing is reduced to a minimum. The medium is thus conveyed to the discharge side even more effectively. (except MX-F400)

Robust construction against
Temperature and pressure

All pressure-bearing parts, such as the front and rear housing, are ribbed. This increases the pressure resistance and the mechanical strength of the pump. The bearing is not only conventionally pressed in, but also fits positively between the adjacent part at the depth of the magnet capsule and the rear end of the impeller. This ensures greater reliability at high temperatures.

(except MX-F100) Models MX-F402 and F403: Detachable locking pins increase safety in these models.
