Corrosion of steel and gray cast iron in machine parts and products is a common side effect of a wide range of defects in cleaning agents or cutting fluid media. The resulting costs are often significant.
With the profluid® CorrSet, it is possible to test the corrosion properties of these fluids even outside a laboratory in about 2 hours. The ready-to-use test kit is also a welcome convenience for the laboratory. The test is based on the well-known gray cast iron chip test DIN 51360-2.
The profluid® CorrSet contains 11 ready-to-use sampling kits, as well as instructions for use, including an evaluation guide. This means the CorrSet is ready to use right away.

Time and cost savings
The known examination of the liquids used is carried out according to DIN 51360-2 with grey cast iron chips (GG25). Usually the examination is carried out in a laboratory. The necessary (time) expenditure for providing the test equipment is considerable. With the profluid CorrSet the result is available about 2 hours after sampling.
