Dosing pumps for environmental applications

Dispensing systems offer. great potential for numerous environmental applications

We configure systems that perfectly fit your requirements and budget.

Areas of application:

  • Wastewater treatment

  • Drinking water treatment

  • Legionella control

  • Rehabilitation of pipes with biofilms

  • Disease control and NBC protection measures.

Three renowned manufacturers

  • Dosatron: Currentless proportional dispensers, insensitive to moisture.

  • Iwaki: Dosing units from one of the world's leading pump manufacturers

  • Etatron: Solid dosing technology also in IP 69 design.

Legionella control or prophylaxis.

Generally important for the proper operation of a plant with dosing system is the hygienic condition of the plant and a very high reliability in the dosing performance. The safe and proper operation of open recooling plants (cooling towers in accordance with VDI 2047) requires reliable dosing systems that can run and dose largely without human intervention.  The multiplication of microorganisms, especially Legionella spec., must be effectively prevented in these plants by efficient disinfection (chemical or biological, but not corrosive) and biofilm formation must be largely excluded.

With little effort, our dosing units can be integrated into existing piping systems. Our compact solution for stationary and mobile water supply units solves many problems using a bypass line. Our systems meter independently of pressure and flow rate fluctuations and are largely insensitive to outgassing. Depending on the application, chemicals, concentrates, polymers can be added to the waste water to be treated in order to feed economically useful valuable substances to the purification or recovery process.

Wastewater treatment with polymers

Polymers in liquid or powder form are used to remove solids from wastewater. These are introduced into the wastewater with the help of dosing systems and polymer mixing systems. Fields of application are sludge dewatering by means of centrifuges, press filters, separating filters or dry treatment. Our pumps and dosing systems can be easily integrated into existing, mobile and also fixed systems. They are suitable for viscous concentrates and are almost insensitive to gas-forming products. Through exact metering and easy operation, we enable a good mixing ratio and a desired concentration.

Drinking water disinfection and treatment.
Pipeline systems pipeline systems used to convey drinking water are usually disinfected with cholderivatives (NaCIO,NaDCC,etc.). To enable effective disinfection, the chlorine derivatives are fed directly into the pipe system automatically and homogeneously to the medium. Our electronic and currentless dosing systems. have been specially developed for the disinfection of spring, well and surface water. Systems for adding chlorine at the end of the pipe are also available.

Systematic disinfection of water treatment systems.
Water treatment systems include reverse osmosis, ultra-filtration and micro-filtration systems. To disinfect these systems easily, a dosing pump is installed that feeds the corresponding products into the circuit via a bypass line. In this way, systematic disinfection in accordance with the TWVO is realised simply and cost-effectively.

Remineralisation and after-treatment of treated water
WIf water has been demineralised, e.g. by osmosis plants, the desired amount of minerals or additives can be introduced into the system via a bypass capacity with the help of dosing pumps. Dosatron's currentless systems are suitable for this . excellent because they work independently of flow and pressure fluctuations.

Decontamination and decontamination

In order to prevent the population from being endangered, all equipment as well as the person himself must be decontaminated or decontaminated in case of serious chemical, biological or radioactive contamination, for example after accidents with hazardous substances or military attacks (Federal Armed Forces, civil defence or industry).  Similar tasks arise after fires. Many pollutants are released with the fire gases and the ashes, which may become trapped in the fire protection clothing of the rescuers, which is why a complete decontamination of the entire equipment should be carried out after a respiratory protection operation. Our dosing systems can easily be used in mobile or stationary NBC, decontamination tents. In showers or systems connected to the water supply via a bypass line, these decontamination solutions can be implemented at your site.
