Suction baskets
The suction strainer forms the receiving part of the suction line when liquid is withdrawn.
It prevents impurities from entering the pump flow and the liquid column in the suction line from breaking off when the pumping process is interrupted. It thus ensures that the suction line is constantly filled with water. Furthermore, the suction strainer allows the suction line to be filled with water if the venting device fails.
