All standard models are equipped with a reduction gear with a vertically mounted electric motor. The reduction gear consists of a worm gear lubricated in an oil bath and ball bearings. The stroke can be adjusted manually or automatically via a 4-20mA signal controlled electric actuator, various BUS signals or a pneumatic actuator when the pump is at rest or in operation. In addition, all dosing pumps are coated with a cathodic dip coating to increase corrosion resistance in offshore applications or with outgassing dosing media and to protect the housing against corrosion. D Series mechanical diaphragm metering pumps are used in the following cases: - The pumped liquid contains small amounts of solids. - The pumped liquid is toxic. - The product must not come into contact with the atmosphere. - No particularly high pressure is required.
